Mellissa has a real life story to share: Once upon a time, at the wall outside LT3.14, there lived a colony of ants and 3 unreasonable lizards. The colony of ants worked hard to carry food from the floor to their nest in the ceiling. The colony of ants had ca...rried 10 pieces of food. At the 11th piece, lizard bully came out to survey the ants' progress with a jealous stare. He (yes i'm gender BIAS ;D) alerted his accomplices. Lizard 1 to Lizard 2: "HEY THEY GOT A LOT OF FOOD! let's benefit from their hard work by stealing their food!" Lizard 2 to Lizard 1: "OK! I'll stand guard here while u stand guard below....hey whr's Lizard 3?" Lizard 1 to Lizard 2: "He's raiding the ants nest since most of the food are already there..hey Lizard 3, show ur head to let Lizard 2 know you're there!" *Lizard 3 sticks out his head* *IN THE MEANTIME*The colony of ants were exercising great amounts of teamwork as they persevered in carrying the largest piece of food up the wall and they had already spent half and hour carrying it about 4m (human measurement). Lizard 2 to Lizard 1: "hey Lizard 1! look at the HUGGEE piece of food that the ants are bringing up! i'm droolinggg......let's snatch it frm them at the 3/4 mark of the wall" Lizard 1 to Lizard 2: "WHAT?! are you sure? thr're so many ants now! what if they try to attack me?! i'll be dead meat!" *RUNS AWAY TO FIND LIZARD 3* Lizard 2 to Lizard 1 in a VERY loud cik-cik voice: "you are such a COCKROACH!" Lizard 2 stares at the largest piece of food and the ants surrounding it, who are still working hard to carry it to their nest, and sprints in for the steal at top speed. The ants carrying the largest piece of food lost their grip on the wall and some of the lucky ones slided down the wall while the unlucky ones fell 2metres and landed on the ground. *Lizard 2 runs to meet Lizard 1 and Lizard 3 to show off the largest piece of food* Moral of the story: It is a predator-prey world out there and if you dun protect the things you love and exercise teamwork in doing so, you would be bullied and taken advantage of. p.s: When the idiotic Lizard 2 snatched the largest piece of food from the colony of ants, my com101 group gasped and had a moment of silence for the loss of the ants. ;D |
